Wisdom Teeth Surgery - THE AFTER MATH

Hello all!! I hope you are all doing well!

So today I got to have the wonderful (not) experience of getting my wisdom teeth out!

And trust me it was PAINFUL

It was absolutely hilarious being on laughing gas and I didn't feel a thing during the surgery because my mouth was frozen and STILL IS 4 HOURS LATER.

I swear the amount of times I have tried to drink water today and it ending up dribbling down my chin instead ridiculous! When I was still kinda doped up on laughing gas I tried drinking water for the first time and I felt it dribbling down my face and onto my chest. I started laughing so hard I spit that water all over my dad's windshield (and all over myself).

I also quickly stopped by Tim Hortons to get some soup for dinner (liquid meals are all I can eat) and I ran into a friend I had not seen in years. I tried to make conversation and catch up but it was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT when your mouth is stuffed with gauze and you can't feel your lips!

Regardless this has been an interesting (and hilarious) experience. Since the freezing is beginning to wear off I'm starting to feel quite a bit of pain in my mouth I think I am going to take a nice bath and head to bed soon.

However I didn't want to waste the experience to share some hilarious, post-surgery, doped up pictures of myself with you guys!

When they were numbing my mouth...

Very HAPPY on laughing gas....

To be honest.... I don't know about this one....

HOPE U LAUGHED AT THESE AS MUCH AS I DID!

Please share your stories in the comments! :)

  1. I feel Your pain! I had removed all four of them. :)
Rest and eat a lot of icecreams! They will help to reduce swelling and limit the pain.

  2. Hope you are feeling better. I would say you're one of the lucky ones. I got my two wisdom teeth removed, but it was impacted, so I had a hospital surgery. Thank the LORD for tabs. I would have been in more pain. Take care always, and the resting times, were actually good. I loved the two weeks to myself, lolls...weird feeling for super drozy from the anesthesia o_O. I had mine in July last year :). Great post!
